1st day kona

its been a while since i last blog. time for me to do it this week since i will have a lot of time tapering for this sat ford ironman world champion. :)

well, it's not always i got a chance to be here to experience the kona week. so i'm making sure that all my friends get to know whats going on here.

yesterday morning, i travelled 3 hrs to manila, 10.30hrs to honolulu and 45mins to kona. finally i arrived on the big island on 3rd oct 2011 330pm. we rented a car. NO! a huge SUV!!! It's a JEEP... wooot!!! i'm so excited. yes!!! the left hand drive is driving me nuts. arghhhh!!! but i'm getting a hang of it after driving half a day... hope so... :P

nothing much today. drove passed kona village, there's a lot of ironman brands banners. the entire whole street. it's gonna be so exciting tomorrow when the race expo is open. managed to see a couple of pros today riding along queen k highway. i gonna do that tomorrow morning and test out my bike. had it fixed after dinner and ready to rock and roll. so that's the plan for tomorrow, 90mins ride in the morning and 45mins run in the 430pm sun.

time to catch a 9hrs slp... body pretty screwed up during flight and the time different here to singapore.
